At the top of Gaustatoppen, there are several places where you can buy something to eat or drink. We offer everything from DNT’s cozy cabin atmosphere to exclusive culinary experiences. It is also possible to book a tailor-made food experience from the Gaustabanen team. 

Kongeloungen

The King's Lounge is located inside the Gaustabanen facility, which was once part of a top-secret military installation. Here, you can enjoy a delicious homemade meal prepared by our highly skilled kitchen team.

Provianten

Provianten is the kiosk located by the exit to Tuddalstippen, just outside Gaustabanen’s upper station at the top of Gaustatoppen. Here, you'll find a wide selection of snacks and a simple range of food. The kiosk is open for self-service during Gaustabanen’s operating hours, and when staffed, we also serve traditional Norwegian pancakes (sveler) and other tasty treats.

  • Hot and cold beverages

Gaustatoppen Turisthytte

Just a few steps above Tuddalstippen and the upper station lies one of the first tourist cabins ever built in Norway. Here, you can enjoy lunch and homemade waffles, and it’s also possible to order meals for groups.
