Your journey begins at the foot of Gaustatoppen. First, you travel 850 metres into the mountain aboard the tram before transferring to the funicular, which climbs another 1,050 metres at a 39 degree incline. Originally built as part of a top secret NATO facility during the Cold War, the railway and the mountain installation now provide the setting for a truly memorable dining experience.
