Provianten is the name of our food and supply corner, and it is open during opening hours of the funicular and facility.

The word provianten comes from the Norwegian term for provisions – referring to food, drink, and other essential supplies, often associated with outdoor life, hiking, or travel. It’s a place where visitors can stock up on snacks, simple meals, and local products before heading out on their next adventure.

Provianten is primarily self-service, but when we have many guests, we like to add a little extra – serving freshly made sveler (traditional Norwegian pancakes) and a variety of simple lunch dishes.

At Provianten, you can always find:
