Gaustatoppen Tourist Lodge is staffed and offers light refreshments in the winter and summer seasons. The lodge was built using stone materials from the summit and has been welcoming tourists since 1893.

Why not enjoy one of their famous waffles while you're taking in the impressive view? During the high season, almost 100 litres of waffle batter are used every day, which is equivalent to about 800 to 1,000 waffles.

If you would like to spend the night 1,860 metres above sea level, the Tourist Lodge has sleeping for 13 guests. Accommodation must be booked in advance. Dogs are not permitted inside the lodge, but the windbreak can be used as a dog room if necessary.
