Arrival and parking
Gaustatoppen Mountain is located about two and a half hours' drive from Oslo.

Private parking for Gaustabanen tramway's guests is situated near county road 651 between Tuddal and Rjukan.

The road from Tuddal to the Gaustabanen tramway is not ploughed in the winter, and arrival by car is only possible via County Road 37 during this period.

Other parking options in the area
During the summer season, parking is limited in the area, so you are encouraged to park at "Gaustablikk Høyfjellshotell", "Bygget Bistro"and Stavsro and use the shuttle bus in the area.

Gaustaekspressen is a transport service in the Gausta area. The bus runs in shuttle to Gaustabanen when Gaustabanen is open.
