Waffles and traditional food at Gaustatoppen Turisthytte

Gaustatoppen Turisthytte is owned and operated by The Norwegian Trekking Association. The cabin is located 1850 meters above sea level, almost at the top of Gaustatoppen. It was built in 1893 by natural stones from the top, and was later expanded and renewed. The tourist cabin is serves food and drink every day during the winter and summer season, and is famous for its well-known waffles.
