Gaustatoppen offers many exciting experiences. We are expanding the opening hours and there is a lot to part in at Gaustatoppen this summer!

Extended opening hours
From 18th June to 21th August, Gaustabanen is open every day from 9am to 8pm.
Refreshments at Tuddalstippen
At the entrance to Gaustabanen at the upper station, there will be refreshments for sale. How about some snacks, cold mineral water, coffee or an ice cream? In any case, you deserve some refreshments while enjoying the view from Gaustatoppen to 1/6 of Mainland-Norway.
"Super moon"
13th July there will be a full moon and "Super moon". "Super moon" occurs when the moon is nearest to the earth in its orbit. The moon is experienced as larger and brighter. Gaustabanen is open all day and night. Guests will then be able to experience both sunset, "super moon" and sunrise.
