Norseman Xtreme Triathlon
Bring your family and friends and head to Gaustatoppen to experience the finish in what is considered the world's toughest triathlon, the Zalaris Norseman Xtreme Triathlon the first Saturday in August every year! Gaustabanen is open to all guests throughout the evening and until the last participant has finished the race at the top
The race is considered the world's toughest triathlon, and is arranged in August each year. It starts with 3.8 km swimming in Eidfjord, then 180 km. by bicycle from Eidfjord over Hardangervidda towards Geilo and to Tinn-Austbygd. It all ends with a 42.2 km run (marathon) finishing at Gaustatoppen.
In our kiosk Provianten, at Tuddalstippen at the top, you can buy yourself a little food, mineral water and some snacks
For information, participants will have priority on the way down with Gaustabanen if it is a queue at the top.
