Night Trek Gaustatoppen
Join a magical Night Trek from Stavsro to the top.
In autumn 2016, the first Night Trek was arranged up to Gaustatoppen by Norad. 5,000 night hikers lit the trail to the top, and were able to read the important message and learn about the UN's sustainability goals at 17 different lighted stops along the way. In 2017 and 2018, they repeated the success of the magical experiences. At most, 7,000 people made a 4.4 km. long light link from Stavsro to the top.
In 2020 and 2021, once again Night Trek to Gaustatoppen was to take place based on local initiative, but due to Covid-19 situation, unfortunately the event had to be cancelled. We hope to be able to repeat the success and create new magic in 2024.
