The Easter is finally here. Gaustabanen is open every day. 1th of April and 7th of April Gaustabanen is open from 6am for the morning birds who will enjoy skiing at sunrise. Thursday 6th of April open until 9pm, for those who will experience moonlight skiing.

Opplev påska 2023 på Gaustatoppen

We wish everyone a warm welcome to Gaustatoppen this Easter. Gaustabanen is open every day from 09:00 to 1600.

In the kiosk "Provianten" at the top, you can buy fresh baked goods and hot drinks every day.
Free Easter eggs for all children.


Easter experiences at Gaustatoppen

Saturday 01.04.23
Skiing for morning birds at sunrise. Gaustabanen opens at 06:00.
Breakfast can be bought at Gaustatoppen Turisthytte.

Maundy Thursday 06.04.23
Moonlight skiing. The marked route from the upper to the lower station at Gaustabanen is additionally marked with flashing lights. Gaustabanen is open until 9pm.
Easter buffet can be bought at Gaustatoppen Turisthytte.

Good Friday 07.04.23
Skiing for morning birds at sunrise. Gaustabanen opens at 06:00.
Breakfast can be bought at Gaustatoppen Turisthytte.

There are reports of good skiing conditions at Gaustatoppen. We recommend the marked route from the Upper to the Lower station at Gaustabanen.
