Tickets to Gaustabanen

Our Opening Hours

Gaustabanen opening hours

Gaustabanen is open every day, all year round, except during periods of scheduled maintenance.

January 2 – June 1
Daily: 09:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Tickets can be purchased online, or at the Lower Station and Top Station of Gaustabanen.
All passengers follow the regular queue at departure.

King's Lounge Café and Restaurant

Friday, Saturday and Sunday untill April 22.: 09:30 AM – 3:30 PM

With pre-booking of a sandwich lunch, we offer a special package deal:
NOK 589 per adult, including a return ticket with Gaustabanen.

Can I buy a ticket at the Top Station?

Yes, we have ticket sales at the Top Station.

Do I have to book er reservation in the King's Lounge?

No, you are more than welcome to visit the Kongelounge café for a bite to eat or something to drink, even if you haven’t reserved a table. We do recommend checking in advance to see if the café is open, or if it’s closed due to a private event or other arrangements. You can also purchase a package deal that includes both the Gaustabanen ticket and a sandwich lunch when booking online.
