Preventive measures Covid-19

As a result of the corona situation and to limit the risk of infection, Gaustabanen has created new guidelines for guests and employees. We have implemented a number of measures to prevent the spread of infection. Guests and staff should feel safe. We adapt all our activities based on new guidelines.

Gaustabanen´s preventive measures:

  • Regularly cleaning.
  • New routines for personal hygiene, especially hand washing.
  • Antibac is set out in many different places - for both employees and guests.
  • The number of guests per trip is adjusted according to who can travel together. We take into account that there will be fewer guests per trip, to make you safe.
  • Dining for guests - Safe distance between tables - No self-service - Cashless payment.
  • Distance to colleagues and guests.
  • Guiding and similar activities are adapted to the size of the group and there will be sufficient space to keep required distance.
  • Distance marking for queues at the entrance, exit and other places where experience has shown that queues occur.
  • All employees are trained in the new guidelines.

What do we expect from our guests?

  • Good hygiene, especially hand washing. Use water and soap where available. Antibac is used where water and soap are not available.
  • Keep distance. The meter rule applies to both guests and employees. Those who live together can socialize in the normal way.
  • Avoid handshakes and close contact with people.. Exception for those who live together and partners.
  • Avoid contact with people who have symptoms of colds or respiratory problems. If you are not healthy or have any of these symptoms, you must stay home.
  • Avoid touching surfaces that are not absolutely necessary.
  • Pay cashless.
  • Follow our advices described at different information boards in the area.
  • The queue may be a little longer and everything may take a little longer time. This is for everyone's benefit and safety and will prevent more people from becoming infected.

Thank you for your cooperation. We look forward to welcoming you!
